The broom was out Thursday as Humphrey-Lindsay-Holy Family swept Bancroft-Rosalie 25-3, 25-7, 25-8 in the season opener here.
Head coach Cami Oelsligle said there was a lot to like about her team’s performance.
“They were disciplined,” she said. “There were so many times at the net, when those tie balls come over — we call them happy birthday because you get a free ball to swing away at — we really focused on sweeping and being smart and directional with it. You watch tonight how many of those balls we played exceptionally well. We put them on a bare spot on the court.
