A little confidence could go a long way.
St. Francis fell here to Plainview 14-25, 18-25, 16-25 Thursday, and head coach Susan Lindsley said she is confident her team will come around, but they need to believe it.
“I don’t even have a doubt about that (communication) because they are fine during practice, so right now it’s confidence. They need to talk. They (make a mistake), and they shut down, and once they do that they get silent, and you can’t physically get back up then,” she said. “They just need some confidence. The discouraging thing is, and I told them, they are so much better than that, and they know it. I think they’re playing a little scared.”
