St. Francis earned the Goldenrod Conference Tournament championship Saturday with a convincing win over Nebraska Christian, 52-37.
The Flyers jumped out to a 15-7 first quarter lead and 32-20 at halftime. They kept Nebraska Christian at bay in the second half to win the title.
Isabel Preister led the way, scoring 19 points, Kylee Wessel scored 13 and grabbed 9 rebounds, and Emma Baumgart scored 11 with 7 rebounds. Hannah Baumgart dished out 6 assists.
