HPS board continues to look into 7-12 facility

Architect hired, delivery method picked at special meeting

An architect is officially hired, construction process chosen, and a committee picked for a proposed new Humphrey Public School 7-12 facility.

The board of education held a special meeting Jan. 17 as it continues to gather information on the project.

After hiring Wilkins Architecture Design Planning LLC, of Kearney, the board discussed the legal requirements of the selection committee, which includes appointing up to four board members (more than four is a quorum), members of the administration, architect, any person with a construction background and a member of the district not already represented by there aforementioned groups.
