Students learn electrical safety from Cornhusker Power

On Oct. 4, Cornhusker Public Power came to Mrs. Klug’s fifthgrade class at Humphrey Public School for a presentation on electrical safety.

Jessica and Parker led the presentation by using “Hazard Hamlet” a town that has many electrical problems to demonstrate electrical safety.

Students were taught ways to be safe around electricity. They were also taught how to properly jump from a vehicle if they were involved in an accident with a power line.
