Lindsay annexation process must start over

The annexation of land for the Lindsay Area Wellness and Events Center hit a snag.

During the Oct. 2 meeting of the Lindsay Village Board of Trustees, board members opened a public hearing and were set to hold the second reading of the ordinance annexing the land into the village boundaries.

However, village attorney Jim McNally said the legal description of the land was lacking the deed of dedication and appropriate plat.
