Flyers fall in 5 sets to Fullerton

St. Francis battled, but dropped a five-set match Thursday to Fullerton 11-25, 25-22, 26-24, 13-25 8-15 in the first round of the Goldenrod Conference Tournament at Central Valley.

After dropping the first set, the Flyers took the next two before the Warriors rallied to win the fourth set and send the match to the deciding fifth, where Fullerton outlasted HSF.

At the net, the Flyers put down 41 kills, 10 each from Kali Jarosz and Tori Jarosz. Whitney Wegener had 9 and Ava Hastreiter, 7.
