St Francis battled the wind and good competition Oct. 11 at the Class D-2 District cross country meet at Twin Creeks Golf Course in Pender.
The Flyers placed 8th out of 17 teams with 91 points, and a combined time of 59:32.22.
Norfolk Catholic won the meet with 11 points, turning in a combined time of 52:37.47 Senior Keith Ternus led the Flyers with a 23rd place finish in a time of 19:14.43.
