Bulldogs can't overcome slow start in loss to O-C

The Bulldogs finally started to look like themselves in the third set, but could not rally past Oakland Craig.

Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family fell to the Knights 16, 25, 17-25, 24-26 Thursday in the Class C-2 state tournament at Pinnacle Bank Arena.

“It’s disappointing a little bit,” head coach Cami Oelsligle said. “I told them you can’t get two sets to get warmed up. If we play like we did the third set in both the first and second sets, I think it would be a completely different game. They’re not going to beat us if we don’t beat ourselves, and we beat ourselves.
