Lindsay Area Development wants the Lindsay Area Event and Wellness Center to be part of the Humphrey Public School district.
Jenny Korth, secretary/treasurer of LAD, made the request during the Nov. 13 HPS board of education meeting.
Board members agreed to have Superintendent Brice King write a letter to Newman Grove Public School making the request to allow 13 acres be transferred from its tax rolls to HPS, at the request of LAD.
