The fourth-grade classes from St. Francis and Lindsay Holy Humphrey Family visited Morrill Hall, the State Capitol and the governor's mansion in Lincoln April 20.
The first stop of the day was Morrill Hall, a natural history museum, which provided a great deal of hands-on opportunities for students to learn about fossils, rocks, history, insects, Native American life and more through exhibits and hands-on fun.
The next stop on the tour was the State Capitol Building. While waiting for the rest of the group to arrive, some of the students were greeted by State Sen. Mike Moser who stopped to find out where they were from. He was excited to learn their schools were in his district. Before he returned to the legislature, Moser took a minute to take a picture with the students.
