Mass of Christian Burial was held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2024, at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Columbus. Interment was in All Saints Cemetery in Columbus. Funeral arrangements were with McKown Funeral Home.

Memorials may be directed to St. Anthony Church, St. Francis Church in Humphrey, or the donor’s choice.

Richard G. Boesch was born Dec. 11, 1955, in Norfolk to Ed and Florice (Pfeifer) Boesch. He grew up in Humphrey and graduated from St. Francis High School in 1974. Following high school, Rick began his 46-year construction career. On Sept. 22, 1979, he was united in marriage to Luanne Kobus at St. Anthony Catholic Church.

Rick was a faithful member of St. Anthony Catholic Church, where him and his wife, Luanne, attended Mass regularly. He was also proud to serve as a 4th degree knight with the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed serving on various committees and working the fish fry’s during Lent. Rick enjoyed golfing and cheering on the Huskers and the Philadelphia Eagles. He also enjoyed his family, getting together with his boys and grandsons regularly to catch up on all of their activities.
