James Francis 'Jim' Eisenmenger

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, Feb. 27, at 10:30 a.m., at St. Francis Catholic Church in Humphrey with Father Stan Schmit celebrating the Mass. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 5-7 p.m. with a 7 p.m. vigil service at the church. Visitation will continue Friday from 9:30 a.m. until Mass time, also at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Francis Catholic Church or St. Francis elementary school/Archangels High School.
Jim was born Dec. 14, 1928, in Norfolk, Neb., to Alvin and Cecelia “Cece” (Brockhaus) Eisenmenger. He graduated from St. Francis High School in Humphrey in 1946 and on February 5, 1951, was united in marriage to Marilyn J. Beierman at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Albion, Nebraska. Jim farmed his entire life. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, supervisor for the Granville Township and served on the board of Humphrey Public Schools. Jim was a faithful member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Jim is survived by: Wife – Marilyn Eisenmenger of Columbus, Neb.
Son – Jerry (Sandy) Eisenmenger of Columbus, Neb.
Daughter – Terri (Russ) Eisenmenger-Wilshusen of Lincoln, Neb.
Daughter – Karen (Dwain) Carlson of Lincoln, Neb.
Son – Joe (Janet) Eisenmenger of Humphrey, Neb.
Son – John Eisenmenger of Humphrey, Neb.
Son – Steve Eisenmenger of Mesa, Ariz.
