The funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, March 27, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 12.5 miles north of Columbus, with Rev. Paul Rempfer officiating.Visitation will be on Wednesday, from 5-7 p.m. at Duesman Funeral Chapel in Humphrey and continue Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until service time, at the church. There will be a family prayer service at 10:15 a.m., on Thursday, at the church. Interment will be at 1 p.m., on Thursday, in Humphrey City Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Association.
Connie Lee Frauendorfer was born on Oct. 27, 1944, in Philip, South Dakota to Herman and Clara (Wiley) Zaugg. She grew up and attended school in South Dakota and moved to Nebraska in 1968. On April 24, 1970, Connie was united in marriage to Harold Frauendorfer in Humphrey. Through the years, she worked at restaurants, city meat market, and at IBP in Madison for over 15 years. Connie enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and caring for her home.
