End of era for 1 Reichmuth at CVA, start for another
Central Valley Ag (CVA) announces Brent Reichmuth as Senior Vice President of Operations. He will be responsible for leading the operations division of CVA, focused on meeting the needs of our producers and exceeding their expectations. Reichmuth joined CVA in 2003 as an operations employee and has grown with the cooperative over the past 20 years serving in various positions. Before his current role, Reichmuth served as Vice President of Operations.

Nadine Engel
Nadine Engel, of Columbus, Neb., passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully in her sleep due to bleeding on her brain, most likely caused by a stroke. Nadine has given the greatest gift of all by continuing to give to others. Her family has honored her wishes of being an organ donor so that others may Live On.

3 coaches, 13 players in 8-man hall of fame
Three coaches and thirteen players have been named to the 2023 Eight-Man Football Hall of Fame. They will be inducted during ceremonies to be held Saturday, June 17th at The Tom Osborne Family Sports Complex in Hastings, Nebraska.

St. Francis students gain 'understanding' of Holocaust
On Tuesday, March 21, the 8th grade students at St. Francis attended an event at Wahoo Public School which was part of the “The Week of Understanding” presented by The Holocaust Center for Humanity. There were two speakers: Dr. Steven Wees, a long time Omaha resident and rheumatologist and the son of Holocaust survivor Elizabeth Bodek Wees, and Peter Metzelaar, who survived the Holocaust as a child with the help of his mother and others.

The St. Francis girls won the Season Opener meet here March 27 with 204 points, finishing ahead of runner-up Riverside by 56 points. The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls placed third at 100 points.
