Law enforcement officials are the people in our society who are here to protect and serve. Many people have a general understanding of the crucial role law enforcement plays in a free society, but they may not be fully aware of what it entails, including their specific roles in society and the challenges they face. Each of the different types of law enforcement goes through different challenges, environments, and experiences. The officials in law enforcement are constantly faced with challenges and changes that happen in today’s world. As the world changes, so does the way law enforcement officials go about their jobs.

The University of Nebraska Medical Center and Columbus Community Hospital have signed a master affiliation agreement that will provide enhanced education and training opportunities for UNMC health professions students. It will allow the institutions to work collaboratively when building the health care workforce in the Columbus area and the surrounding region.
