On Thursday, May 4, the St. Francis golf team traveled to Indianhead Golf Course in Grand Island to compete in the Goldenrod Conference Golf Tournament.
St. Francis made itself at home, earning the championship April 27 of the St. Francis Invitational.
The St. Francis boys and girls placed first and second, respectively April 25 at the Flyers Invitational here.
On Wednesday, April 12, the St. Francis golf team traveled to Club 91 Golf Course in Leigh to compete in the Patriot Invite.
St. Francis competed April 13 at the O-Neill Invitational.
The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls and boys each placed fourth April 11 at the Neligh Oakdale Invitational.
The St. Francis golf team opened the 2023 golf season by traveling to Osceola to compete in the Bulldog 2 Person Scramble April 4.
The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls finished third and the boys fourth April 3 at the David City Aquinas Invitational.
The Goldenrod Conference recently released it's all conference basketball teams.
The St. Francis girls won the Season Opener meet here March 27 with 204 points, finishing ahead of runner-up Riverside by 56 points. The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family girls placed third at 100 points.

GOLF
The change may have been subtle, but it flipped the script and led St. Francis to a 61-54 win over McCool Junction Thursday morning in the opening round of the Class D-2 State Tournament at Pinnacle Bank Arena.
The two familiar foes stood toe-to-toe, but in the end Falls City Sacred Heart outlasted St. Francis 33-29 in overtime Friday night in the Class D2 girls state basketball semifinal at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.
