St. Francis golf team wins Conference, finishes 2nd at Stanton.

Karley Vering, Briley Dohmen, Garret Durkop and the 4 x 800-meter relay all turned in first place efforts April 23 at the St. Francis Invitational here.

Three first place efforts led the St. Francis girls to first place in the St. Francis Invitational while the boys placed second April 23.

Faith Korth has been selected to attend American Legion Auxiliary Cornhusker Girls State June 2-8 on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Emerson Krings is heading to Southeast Community College.

The St. Francis golf team traveled to David City to compete in the David City Invite April 17.

Mike Trader’s Annual Mid-America Basketball Camp will conduct eight individual sessions this summer. The overnight and commuter camps for boys and girls will be held June 30-July 3 at Central Community College (Platte Campus) in Columbus and July 8-11 at Doane University.

Humphrey FCCLA had 19 members from Humphrey Public Schools attend the State Leadership Conference in Lincoln April 7-9.

The Humphrey-Lindsay Holy Family boys scored 37 points to place seventh and girls finished with 13 points for 9th at the Neligh/ Oakdale Invitational April

The Foltz-Zuerlein American Legion Post 80 in Humphrey is sponsoring Cole Preister, son of Bryce and Shelly Preister, and Owen Kurtenbach, son of Jeff and Erica Kurtenbach, of Humphrey Public School, for Cornhusker Boys’ State June 2-8.
